Is it just me, or was NBC's coverage of Olympic sailing really bad?

There was no TV coverage that I saw and they spent more time showing an empty harbor/wx delays, boats being towed in, or awards ceremonies than actual races on their webcast. There were also multiple and incorrectly titled replays of the same races. They showed Anna Tunnicliffe and a few other medal races, but I looked, and only saw the finish of one Tornado race.

It was even worse North of the border. I was very dissappointed. I read that NBC wasn't televising the sailing but it would be available to watch online. Well, it may have been but it was only available to US citizens. The Canadian broadcasters only televsied Baseball, volleyball, swimming and gymnastics and thats about all I saw on TV.

Webcast coverage really wasn't available online in my area of NC either, my ISP evidently hadn't paid NBC. But I was able to get it to play by entering a zip code and ISP for a different area of the country that did have arrangements with NBC (luckily it worked using my previous VA zip and old ISP :D ). It worked for the entire two weeks. :D

This link is still good to see the Tornado medal race.

The overall coverage really sucked, especially Gary Jobson's lame typing commentary.

However, you can go back through the various days and see some decent sailing.

The best is the 49er race on about day 8 or 9.
