"At intermission, around 10:00 PM.....the drawing for the Raffle began. We had our Miller Lite Girl from Des Moines draw tickets out of a rolling cage provided by the Clear Lake Chamber of Commerce. There were 562 tickets in the cage and we were drawing only 3! Up for grabs was Grand Prize: your choice of 1 2008 Hobie 16 sailed by the 2007 North American Champion, Armando Noriega Jr. or 2 -2008 Hobie Waves. We drew for the Grand Prize Winner First....so everyone was eligible. The ticket was pulled and presented.....I couldn't believe it when I first read the name.....Charlie Clemens from Clear Lake! Charlie is around 78 years old and helps in every way possible. He never says no to any project and loves taking new people sailing all summer. In fact, this summer we was very successful at introducing his twenty-something neighbor to sailing...and by the end of the year, he was skippering the boat!....a older early 1970's boat...just wait till he hears he can sail a brand new 2008 Hobie 16 next summer! Shocked "

Sounds like a great choice. Congratulations Charlie!
