"Rarely see"? Are we that much of pariahs?

That's what I was thinking too. If it is true, and that's the perception of the sailing public at large, I aim to do something about it.

I didn't know,

Main Entry: pa·ri·ah
Pronunciation: \pə-ˈrī-ə\
Function: noun
Etymology: Tamil paṟaiyan, literally, drummer
Date: 1613
1 : a member of a low caste of southern India
2 : one that is despised or rejected : outcast

so I looked it up.

Sounds pretty accurate to me. :D

Yeah! Put that writer on an email distribution list for the 2010 Hobie regatta schedule! Make it his fault for not paying attention!

Did you get a copy of the Lake Havasu News-Herald Sat? Your pic is in it. If you didn't let me know and I'll send you the one I have.

Actually, here is some real action. Seriously!
This is the end of the last race, with Mimi trimming her sail, and fighting hard for second place.
This action takes place about 50 feet away from the finish line.
Needless to say that these last feet were probably the longest feet in the history of racing !

Anybody have any pictures of the Trapseat Hobie 16's from HavaMega? Somebody is submitting an article on this class and would like some pictures to include but we can't find any. Please post a website here or email them to me at gthomas at hobiecat dot com

Thanks
