Soon. Relax, you have 10 months of winter up there to sit through before you can even find your boat in the snow.
You should be thinking about that slap shot instead!

Hey one of the characters in the movie Goldtorp(or something like that) was based on a real hockey player from Thunder Bay.
Being the hockey fanatic I am , I have actually never seen the movie.Something about watching Paul Newman skate does not sit well with me.

Hey Mike,

Check the movie out, Newman holds his own.

Put on the blades and come on down for the Madcatter. We still skate Friday mornings before the GEP.

You can skate with us, too, Bob!!!

Syracuse Bulldogs rookie goon Ogie Ogilthorpe, who was mentioned throughout the film but never actually seen until the final playoff game, was based on longtime minor-league goon Bill "Goldie" Goldthorpe. Like Ogie Ogilthorpe, Goldie Goldthorpe is also infamous for his rookie season in professional hockey (1973) when as a member of the Syracuse Blazers he amassed 25 major fighting penalties before Christmas.

See - we do more than sail.

BTW with regard to the Nationals I have some Ex T-Cat guys that are seriously thinking of going to the 16 Nationals(if it is at Cork)
Oskar Johannson,Morten Fogh,John Curtis,Kevin Stittle.Should make for some good competition.

Maddcatter is on my list as a must do event. When I am not sure.Hopefully while I am fit enough I can still skate and sail on the same day. That would be 2/3rds of my definition of a perfect day.
