I have a 2005 H-16, I can try and get a picture this next weekend, when I am racing in Ventura, CA. However I will try and describe the setup here.
Okay So you have your jib hoisted. You should have 2 blocks attaching to the Jib Clew Plate with 1 shackle. Now you have your nice long jib sheet. There is a hole in the back of the Jib Car plate, that you can put one of the jib sheet through and tie a figure 8 (Stopper Knot). Now take your jib sheet and put it through one of the blocks on the jib clew. Right block if you started on the right side of the boat, left block for left...
Pass the jib sheet through the block and back down into the jib sheet cleat (Passing through the "Bullseye".) Now the end of the jibsheet that passes out of the cleat, bring it around the trampoline in front of the mast through the front of the other clear, through the "bullseye" up to the corresponding jib sheet block on the clew of the jib. Then pass it back to the cleat, and pass it through the hole in the back part of the car plate, and tie another stopper knot...
If there are no twists in the jib sheet, you done!
I allways leave the jib sheet in the cleats, and just remove the clew plate shackle, and attach it to the bridal chainplate to keep everything secure. This saves time when rigging..
Hope this helps, and I will try and get you those pictures.
