Wish I could've been there this year, the weather looks like it going to be warmer in Syracuse than San Diego this weekend. Excellent turnout, have a great regatta.

Just curious, what is the difference between a H16A and a H16B?

A Fleet - Advanced/Expert
B Fleet - Intermediate
C Fleet - Beginner
N Fleet - Novice

20+ years ago when Hobie racing was big and many regattas regularly drew 80+ boats, there were enough people to fill out all the fleets. Back then, you actually had to earn points to work your way up through the fleets. These days, if you race on a regular basis, you register for A Fleet. If you're a beginner or a casual racer, you register for B Fleet.

That is what I thought but I was not sure. Thanks for the info.

That's a great expected turn out. I hope you have good weather up there this weekend. Will have to plan to attend next year when I should have a better handle on my H16.
