This is a copy of the email being sent out to registereds:

Hi
This is the first of a few correspondances prior to the event you'll be getting.

First off:
There will be a follow up email regarding WHEN YOU GET THERE and where to go with your boat and trailer. You will need to pay VERY CLOSE ATTENTION to this email when you get it as parking WILL BE A PROBLEM if you don't know what to do.

Second: Those of you camping, please contact me via email to confirm numbers. VERY important.

Third: Those promised RV spots, contact me ASAP via email or phone to make plans.

Fourth: Evening Meal schedule.

Sunday 19th: Tay's Blues and BBQ Festival to celebrate Fathers Day at the Yacht Club.

Monday 20th: Own your own night BUT we have the opportunity for a sit down catered meal from one of the best local resturants in the area that will be including Shrimp and Grits, gumbo and crusted grouper bites. The cost to you will be around 13-15 bucks a head and we have to have 30 people for a min. to have this. So in light of that, please RSVP me that you want to take advantage of this opportunity and we'll make it happen.

Tuesday 21st: Catfish Fry with a local brewery beer preview at the YC

Wednesday 22nd: Own your own eating BUT we have a HOBIE Pub Crawl scheduled for downtown Ocean Springs with coupons for local bars/grilles in the welcome bags. :)

Thursday 23rd: Big Daddy Shrimp Boil on the beach with all the fixin's. Awards 17/18-Welcome 14/Wave/16 Youth and Female
THIS will be awesome.

Friday 24th: Is my dad's birthday, so when you see him tell him happy 69th! Dinner is own your own. There will be an activity for W/Y TBA for this evening (or may get moved to SAT night but either way we'll let you know what and where in plenty of time)

Saturday 25th: Iowa Steak Night. Steaks from Iowa will be flown in (or FEDEX'd in!) and its a grill your own with sides.

Sunday 26th: We'll be racing early and off the water EARLY so as Div 7 likes to do: We'll be doing Hotdogs/Hamburgers ON THE GRILL just before you pull out of town.

We can expect beautiful sunsets to watch off the deck of the incredible OSYC, we can expect good live music on a number of evenings, and the bar section of the YC is a VERY fun place to hang out and meet new people.

Regarding lunches: Lunches are ON YOUR OWN, but we have contracted with some excellent vendors to be on site to provide lunches for around 5-6 bucks per day. The Shed (Bing/Google that one...) and you'll see one of the Top BBQ spots in the Nation will be there to feed us along with the Staff at the YC.

Regarding Breakfast: We are under the impression that the wind does not build consistantly until around 11am, so providing early breakfast is not going to work logistically. Coffee will be made but please feed yourself early day.

Please drive/fly carefully, see you in just 12 days!
