I am president of the University of Oklahoma sailing team and we were thinking about doing a fundraiser regatta at lake hefner on september 22 and 23 (tentatively). We were going to open it to all boats and have different starts and portsmiths for scoring and so forth. I was wondering if anybody would be interested in coming. It would probably be around $40-$50 and we would grill burgers on saturday night and provide trophies in some form or another. Anyway, just wondering if we should put out the effort to try to put it on...please leave some feedback.

Josh Benge?

This is Vernon, I will definently come race if it is for the club. Might even bring both my boats the 14 and the Nacra. This sounds like alot of fun. If you need any help planning it get ahold of me. I am always willing to help.

All the Hobie Point Gang would be interested - Since its open
you can count on the Nacra's and the prindles and the Hobies
Only problem would be the water level - let us know if we can help

Josh, I will help if I can. Especially since it is open and i can bring the nacra. That would be a fun day of sailing, and be a good way to meet some of the locals.
