As you can tell by some of my other posts, I am fascinated with how fast you can get a wind-powered craft to go. The tri-foiler has ALWAYS been one of my favorite boats. Too bad they don't make it anymore But then, they were WAY too much money for the average poor sailing joe - still, one can dream. Matt Miller - ANY chance these could be made again, affordable, with roto-hulls perhaps ? Thanks Barren |

I just wonder how much they are used and if they ever are for sale? |

Post subject: | seek two trifoilers |
I sailed (flew) in one a few years ago. They don't fly well in choppy waters over 2 foot. Otherwise, they provide a unique thrill experience. I have been looking for one (actually two if possible) to purchase, either in California or Hawaii. [email protected] 559.389.6464 |

Has there ever been an organized regatta for these. You could probably fire off 8-10 races in a day with the speeds these hit. |

Not something we are considering. |

The hulls would be easy.... It's all the special castings that would still be the problem. Brian C |
