Matt this is a question more for you:

I have a 2008 Bravo. Yesterday when I was breaking down the boat the Mast Keeper Knob (90502031) came apart, well at first I thought it snapped, but upon closer examination it actually did come apart. I could be wrong but it looks like Hobie used Loctite (blue) to adhere the black knob to a nut. If I am correct about it being a Loctite product this is what I found out about the blue:
Loctite 242 is considered a "removable," "medium-strength thread locking adhesive and is intended for assemblies that are expected to be disassembled. Loctite 242 is a blue fluid.

So my question to you is two fold. Am I still covered by a warranty for parts and second what would the price for a new one be? Thanks so much.

Should need a simpile re-assembly using Loc Tite and the jam nut. Be sure the depth of the pin reaches clear into the Gate. If you want the part replaced... it is # 90502031 ($7.50 if purchased).
