I after much thought and consideration have bought a Bravo, It will be Shipped to my Home but in the mean time I am in the process of modifying a trailer to fit. Can somebody measure the inside distance between the hulls, and the distance on centerline of the keel between the hulls. I thank you greatly, I will be glad to report my first impressions of my maiden sail. Mar |

Just measured mine, 44.5 inches between the center line of the keels and 27.7 inches between the inside of the hulls at the narrowest point. Charlie |

Thanks Charlie, I want to have a bunk where the keel is and a vertical one that will keep the boat centered on the trailer against the inside of the hulls, of course I will have to make all final adjustments with the boat on the trailer. Thanks for your reply Marlen |

Thanks for these measurements! The new Bravo I'm picking up tomorrow morning will be living on a boat lift, and I needed to adjust the bunks to fit it; can do that tonight This should be the ultimate in laziness - lower the boat lift, pull out the sail and go sailing!! I think I will be able to sail more often (stolen bits of time) when I don't have to mess with rigging a sailboat every time I get a free hour or so... Deb |

And just like that! I paddled the Bravo home from the boat ramp (yes - I know they're supposed to sail.... but I was short on set-up time) and it settled in sweetly on the boat lift I rearranged last night! Actually - it paddled quite nicely!! Not as much of a barge as I had anticipated - I can see how it's going to sail easily in a light breeze. Tonight (hopefully) I'll have time to set up the mast/sail and get them placed on the boat. Thanks again for those measurements!! |
