OK, I think I may scrap the trailer. I bought a used Ford F150 single cab with a full length bed because it was really cheap and I needed a truck and a hitch for the Bravo and a trailer. To my surprise, the Bravo fits flat in the truck bed. Here is a picture of the length and width to test the Bravo mount. Of course I still have to strap it down, tie down the sail and insert the rudder, but I am happy with the outcome. With the truck bed down, all I need is a red flag on the back. The beaches I go to can easily carry/cart the Bravo from the parking lot to the shore (50 feet). This also allows me to go to places where a trailer may limit the adventure (i.e. a private beach house, public beach parking lot with normal car spaces, etc). My next step is to add truck racks for the sails...... and my Hobie adventure island. Yes I have both but never used them together on the same outing.

Perfect fit in the truck. Done!

For reference, if you ever need your truck bed space back for a longer trip with the boat....
My old Bravo came with a wave trailer (which I now use for my Wave). The Bravo fit nicely on the inside of the adjustable risers but I didn't like that it was sliding on top of the the metal crossbeams when loading/unloading. Probably no biggie for the tough bottom but I built some wooden slips like the ones in the photo above.

However, instead of messing with metal brackets to get the angle, I just laid down a couple of 2x6s then ripped another couple of 2x6s at a 45 degree angles. Reverse them and screw & countersink them to the flat 2x6. Cover them in some scrap marine carpet (free) from a local marine supply store and you have some super cheap slips to rest the boat in. I also cut out some dados to allow it to rest securely over the crossbeams before I clamped them down with some scrap stainless steel (also free if you go asking at metal shops for smaller scraps) bolted up around the crossbeams from the bottom.

Speaking of free.
I no longer use them with the Wave, as it sits on the proper padded areas of the trailer, so I'd give them away free to anyone who cares to come to PEI and clear up the space they are now taking up in my mini barn. Of course, I realize there are not to many of you in my area so Imagine they will become campfire wood soon but still, I thought I'd put it out there.
