OK, I think I may scrap the trailer. I bought a used Ford F150 single cab with a full length bed because it was really cheap and I needed a truck and a hitch for the Bravo and a trailer. To my surprise, the Bravo fits flat in the truck bed. Here is a picture of the length and width to test the Bravo mount. Of course I still have to strap it down, tie down the sail and insert the rudder, but I am happy with the outcome. With the truck bed down, all I need is a red flag on the back. The beaches I go to can easily carry/cart the Bravo from the parking lot to the shore (50 feet). This also allows me to go to places where a trailer may limit the adventure (i.e. a private beach house, public beach parking lot with normal car spaces, etc). My next step is to add truck racks for the sails...... and my Hobie adventure island. Yes I have both but never used them together on the same outing.
