OK, this is not truly a useful post, amusing maybe, but after forgetting to take my rudder into the garage last night, I discovered this morning that it makes a most excellent earwig trap. When I set it down on the concrete floor of the garage with a bit of a thud, hundreds of the horrid little creatures fell or crawled out and scurried everywhere.

I'm sure my neighbour enjoyed my 'Riverdance' as I tried to step on as many as I could before they found there way into another hiding place in the garage.
