I recently got a boom for my Hobie Bravo and all that came with it was instructions on installing the boom vang anchor point. There was no instructions on setup and looking at it, I can't determine how to attach the clew to the outhaul (pully system). There is a metal link between the shockcord and the regular (non-streatchy) line but no clip that I can find. I have gone online and I can find no photos or YouTube videos that show how the boom is setup. Am I missing parts? Is there instructions on setting up the boom? Does someone have either a drawing or photo that can show how to setup this gear? Any help would be greatly appreciated. VATriker Woodbridge, VA USA |

There should be a hook on the outhaul for the clew. Check pages 15-16 https://static.hobiecat.com/digital_ass ... 1569009486 I'm away from home so I can't show you any real pictures from my boom. |
