I have just placed a deposit on a new 2008 Bravo & will pick it up in the spring. I also ordered the boom. My question is this: Are you still able to reef the main when the boom is attached? |

Yes. It just takes an extra step. If you check the assembly manual, you'll see the details. http://www.hobiecat.com/support/pdfs/BravoManual.pdf Brian C |

darter159, After having my Bravo for about 3 weeks, I say ordering the Boom kit was a good idea. Its really necessary to control sail shape and placement when sailing off the wind. I'm looking to get one now. Charlie |
