Not really a Hobie event, but us Fleet 259 guys have been talking about doing this race for awhile. We're still on the fence if it's going to be a Hobie 20 outing or a Hobie 18 outing, but it should be a blast either way. Boats will assemble in Morro Bay and head out into the ocean, and sail south the the party in Avila Beach. Mostly a bigger boat event, but we're going to try and show them what fun the little cats can have. It's the day before Wine and Roses in Santa Barbara, so it could be a fun 3 day weekend of sailing! I know the Hobie 20 guys are looking for an excuse! |

Looks like we're taking the 20s and gonna see if we can show up a Prindle or two while we're at it, then haul out, load up the 18s and head to wine and roses. Six days and counting. Tom |

It was super fun, but next year I'll be sure to bring a GPS with me. We had some dense fog that made navigation by land impossible. Tom |
