my wings are tied to the boat with a small cord have never lost one
The wings are nice good for a nap on the beach or on a slow day My 16 year old has taken over as Captain however I am still Admiral of the Fleet. I have been on the wings more and more. I have put some noodles under the wings for playing in the water

I also secure wing seats to boat with a small line
Pool noodles add positive buoyancy to Hobie 21 when she capsizes (vs non-floating wings) or worse, turtles. They are also very comfortable to sit on :D

I stuffed a couple of noodles in my H-18 magnum wings two years ago. Seeing your pictures I think I need more noodles.
