Just bought a Hobie Cat 21se for a ridiculously low price

It has the numbers 114 on both hulls. Would this have been in a racing circuit?

The boat hasnt seen water for about three years, is in great shape and came with a near new set of sabre sails.

Anyone on this site from Atlantic Canada? Cant wait for some coastal cruising!!

They all had those numbers on the hulls well past those hull numbers.

Actually all SEs are supposed to have hull numbers. If you have a sail number it is supposed to be the same as the hull number. My boat doesn't have a hull number 'cause I don't like the way it looks. I do have sail numbers 'though, The serial number is scratched into the gelcoat on the back of the hulls, on the transoms. CCM????103? My hull/sail number is 103. My boat is wicked fast, lovingly cared for and in Ottawa. Take care
