My daughter and I had a great weekend sailing on Lake Monroe...glad to see a 21SC out and an 18' too
.White caps all over the lake.The last several weeks we been out on my 21SE,the rudders seem to "pop up" way too easy in heavy wind.We stopped and drifted a little while I swam around behind the boat and adjusted that plastic screw up tightening the cams and that did not really fix the problem.Is it time for new springs or what?Should I have loosen those plastic screws?One seems slightly more problematic then the other.I replaced those internal parts a few years ago and the those plastic screws do move.I remember applying some grease on those screws to keep them from seizing up.
Any advise would be nice,Thanks
