So I'm picking up my first 21SE this week, Have lots of questions. I have owned many 18s most with wings. I have almost read every post on this foarm, you all speak so highly of the 21s I'm very excited.
Thinking of doing a total refit, sails, tramps, wing covers. And front tramp. So that was question one, has any put one on a SE, I'm thinking it will need to be custom made.
Aslo Sails. I looked at Whrilwind sails, a friend said the quality was not that good.
Any thoughts on these.

I'm wondering if a forward tramp would lift the cat
in the higher winds , making it harder to hold the windward hull
off the water at the desired height ? It's a Cool idea though ; let us
know what Ya come up with please !!

I would thing a net style tramp would be less likely to cause a problem.

What are you hoping to gain with a forward tramp?

I remember when I bought my 21SE and the first thing I saw was the forward tramp and wanted to put this on my new boat. I am sure the posts are still here if searched :P Then I sailed the boat and I have had 4 adults and two young teens on the boat and flying at 13-17mph and wondered what was I thinking.

I suggest sailing the boat awhile and seeing what you think then. Best boat for luxury flying.

I just wish there were more 21SE's in the area to play with....

Enjoy 8)
