just checked my wing sockets for water. Good idea this time of the year. The foam pipe insulation and jar lids sealed with silicone have not let me down yet. Sailing weather around in a few more months

Gary, I follow your advice each winter.......... :)

I also elevate the trailer tongue high enough to drain any water that may condensate in the hulls out the drains...

I double wrap the entire boat and trailer with two tarps and leave the access ports open for ventilation....

I keep brushing off any snow that may land on the tarps, but since I lengthened the rear mast caddie most snow and ice slides right off the tarp..... :D

Tonight, the wind chill is expected to reach -20 degrees here in Columbus Indiana.... :(

Only 69 more days till we sail out of Key West, Florida to Fort Jefferson.

Now,I just need to replace my '93 Suburban and my '06 Jetta that I totaled out in late December... both in the same accident and I was the only driver ....figure that one out... :?

Wow. Good thing the boat wasn't with you at the time. I'll need to hear some more details soon.
