One of the black plastic eyes used to attach seat straps on hobie 14ti popped off. Suggestions for best epoxy(?) to use for repair?

There is a repair kit included with each boat. Glue and scraps of vinyl. Clean the surfaces if the part and the hull. Apply glue to both and wait about five minutes... and then press them together.

This video shows gluing an accessory mount, but same process: http://www.youtube.com/embed/q8C-pFSS_kc?autohide=1&autoplay=1&color=white&fs=1&rel=0&showinfo=0&theme=light&

Matt,

If the glue in the repair kit is a 3 years old (or older) should one get a fresh tube? Any way to tell if the glue is still good before using?

Thanks!

I would think fresh would be best, but I'm not aware of an expiration date on that. You could test on a scrap?
