Post subject:  How do I mount my flat padeye to my curved hull ?

I bought the accessory kit so I could add a padeye with a velcro strap to hold down my paddle ( so I don't lose another one :-) )
However , the padeye has a flat bottom , I notice the existing padeyes on the tubes of the i12 are curved to match the hull/tube. How do I curve the padeye bottom so the edges don't stick out , or do I have the wrong part ?

Not sure what you are seeing, but we only have one part. If it looks like the pad eye on the hull...

The Padeye bottom is flat , but the hull/tube is curved. How do you get the flat bottom to fit the hull? Is it heated first or do you install when the hull is deflated and when dry it take the shape of the hull, or ?

The pad eye has a small pad and fits the tube radius easily enough. Inflate the hull to install.
