Santa Barbara County in California requires boats to be washed with a high pressure wash at 140 degrees before entering the lakes. This is an effort to prevent the spread of certain mussels. Is there a problems washing the kayak in this manner? |

High pressure? I'd be concerned around glue joints. |

Unfortunately many local lakes will not allow access without pressure washing at a designated boat wash. I worry about this ... I realize that it is best not to do it, but if I want to get on the water, sometimes I have no choice. Anyone else have experience with pressure washing an inflatable or folding kayak? |
