Like fixing a bike tire I am pretty sure. Rough up / clean the area and apply some glue in a thin layer. Apply same to patch. Let them dry to the touch. and then press on the patch.

Hi, I just wanted to share my experience on patching a small tear. I purchased my i14T used so it didn't come with a repair kit. On my 4th outing, I hard-scraped my kayak against a large rock leading down to the launch site. It tore a small slit about 1/4" and let out all the air in the port chamber. I looked online for repair kits and found one that patches the hole from the inside and outside. You use MEK (methyl ethyl ketone) to clean and prep the surfaces (both the yak and the patch) 3 times, then apply some adhesive (the kit came with Vyna Bond) to both surfaces, let dry, repeat 2 more times, and apply. I waited about 12 hours to test inflate to about 60% capacity. It looked solid, so I deflated and poured the interior patch (a latex-based sealant called ToobSeal). Waited another 3 hours, then inflated to 100%. Just like new! I've already taken the yak out 2 times and the repair is holding up great! Hope this helps.
