I am getting ready to get a new i12. My dream is go demo next week (question on how comfortable the seat is for this old body) and if is as great as I expect then buy it. How do you know if you have V2 Drums and sprockets on i12 instead of V1 parts?

I guess my real question is the i12s coming from the factory fully converted over to the How do you know if you have V2 Drums and sprockets?

We have had "V2" drums for several years and "V2" sprockets for a couple... the inflatables should be fully V2.

A V2 sprocket can be recognized by a bit of visable brass at the point where the mast threads in.

I just bought an inflatable i14T and it had V1 sprocket. The boat is a 2008 model. I had to learn this by trial & error because I ordered the wrong turbo fins. If you have the boat, take one fin off (see video for instructions: http://www.graspr.com/videos/Install-Ho ... rbo-Fins-1) and look up into the sprocket to see if there is threading or a set screw.

Good luck!
