How do you guys know when to stop inflating?

In my experience, keeping the inflatable firm by pumping until there is a little bit of resistance (don't force) and the 'wrinkles' in the hull disappear, is perfect. Being firm is important when you are sailing so that the shrouds hold the mast more securely. I realize that this is not a scientific answer, but I think most of us 'guys' don't actually measure the pressure with a gauge. I hope this helps.

2x on above, plus if you will when the yak is cool be prepared to let some air out when the sun heats up the air in the chambers.... Just a heads up on unmeasured air pressure.
