We just took delivery of two Hobie i9S where we hope to take it on our world travels. Does anyone have experience in checking it in on the airlines? Was a different type of duffel? Any damage? Appreciate hearing your experiences.
Thanks

Protect the hobie bag and the yak.... I would make a box for it to protect the rubbing it will take in the conveyer belt system. the box would be cardboard. make sure the yak and box does not weigh more than the maximum allowed. Call and find out before getting to the airport. Good luck and post up after you travel and let us know how it traveled.
