Greetings All,

I am considering a I14t and am being offered a 2010 model. I just want to know what if any changes were made for 2011 model of the I14t. Basically, am I missing out on anything by going with the 2010 model. The Mirage Drives should all be V2 for the 2010 model right? Is there any essential accessories I should purchase along with the I14t? Any thoughts on the Hobie Ultimate Fishing Package? Is that a good kit for Florida Keys fishing"?

Sorry for rambling.

Thanks for all the help.

No changes that I am aware of.

Hi Impervius,

Extra purchases might include a sailing rudder even if you aren't planning on purchasing the sailing kit. The sailing rudder, which is cheap and easy to install, is larger and hence gives much better handling in all conditions, with or without a sail. Many on this forum have said the same thing. I also bought the turbo fins for both sets of mirage drives and like them better than the standard fins.

You are sure to have a lot of pleasure if you buy an i14T. Good luck and have fun!

Thanks a ton ddrury and mmiller.

I purchased the I14t yesterday and am itching to hit the water this weekend. I noticed that Hobie carries the Lowrance Elite 5 series and was wondering does the installation kit work for the inflatable series?

Thanks again for all the help.
