Greetings,

Yesterday I was installing the accessory holder kit to my new i14t along with the RAM post scotty conversion and the hole where the l mount the ram mount cracked. What are my options? I am disappointed in the quality of the accessory holder kit not to mention the lack of instructions that came both with the holder kit and Hobie Ram Mount. Is there a way to safely remove the accessory holder?

The Scotty mount cracked? You should be able to unbolt this from the accessory mount. A new one can be bolted in it's place. That is a thick piece of plastic though. Surprised it would crack.

The accessory holder is a contoured plate with 4 embedded nuts that glues to the hull.

The Scotty mount bolts to the plate.

The RAM ball inserts into the Scotty mount.
