I just received the evolve drive for my tandem inflatable. Just to clear a few things up about mounting the unit on an inflatable tandem. I found this information about the limited mounting after talking with Hobie. 1) cannot be mounted on rudder 2) If battery is installed in the front water tight compartment, placement of evolve drive is limited to front well. Hope this helps you in deciding to purchase the evolve drive for your inflatable tandem. |
