Post subject:  Main sheet control

Does anyone have input on the utility of a cam cleat on the Hobie inflatables (mine is an i9s) in order to reduce the need to hand-hold main sheet tension?
I'm wondering if a small block with attached cam cleat shackled to the right-side pad eye might be convenient. If so, does anyone have a recommendation for the particular item(s) of hardware, from Hobie or another source. Thanks in advance for your input.

Try this, works great for Trapeze and Vang Cleat.

I put a small Harken block on the stern for the mainsheet, fastened on the stainless hook for the handle. There is now not enough pull on the mainsheet to make holding it an issue, and you can play the sheet in and out easier. You might want to try that before putting a cleat on it.

Thank you Greg and ewagman. Both suggestions are good and appreciated. I'm going with a serial approach, first ewagman's and then, purhaps, Greg's. Ewagman, will you please provide me the id info for the block you use, and those of other parts employed, if any?
