Post subject:  Rudder Assembly Broken?

I bought a new i14, along with the sailing kit, several weeks ago. After a few times of sailing I decided to get the larger rudder. I hadn't looked too closely at the rudder assembly before (as it seemed to be working), but when I went to install the new rudder I noticed that it looks like a piece is broken. In the included photo there are the two lines that are used to raise/lower the rudder. If you look behind and under those lines, it appears that something has broken off. Is that that case and, if so, how do I go about getting that replaced? Thanks for any help you can provide.

Your rudder has been modified to a more current setup, the line guide was removed. This rudder should be using a different rudder pin with a line guide in the head. Rudder down control tension can cause the rudder to turn left. The guide keeps the lines centered.

The pin on the right is what you need. 81394021. or if rudder handling is not an issue... you are good to go with what you have.
