Good Morning Everyone,

We are getting ready to buy the i14 inflatable, maybe!

1) has anyone paddled rivers? Whitewater? Oceans with these?
2) How much freeboard do you experience when fully inflated?
3) How does the sailing rig work out?
4) Do you travel with it fully inflated and deflate only for storage?

Thank you very much in advance

Hi Jeff426;

Sorry no one has chimed in with answers to your questions yet. I'll try to help based on our experience. We bought our i14T 3 years ago, and have been very pleased with it. We use it on a lake but have also used it extensively on the ocean. We find it incredibly stable - all but the largest waves can be taken broadside without problems. I don't know what freeboard is so I can't help you there. Neither do we have the sailing rig. We always travel with it deflated. We have an electric pump and a 12V outlet in the back of our car so it is easy to inflate. We also bought the wheels so we can easily get it from the car to the water - definitely a good investment. Last winter we drove to Mexico for six months and took the boat with us. It handled everything really well, and was quite a conversation starter on the beach! In short, we have no complaints - it works really well for us.

Hope this helps.
