Just purchased hobie i9s. Love to sail and fish. I troll presently with a folbot and use the sail rig for power. I would like to use the hobie sail for trolling also. How well does the i9s sail? Is it worth to get just for the fun of sailing? Can it be used to troll with the hobie glue on rod holders? this would seem like the perfect combination for trolling. Thank Summerbird

Most comments about sailing the inflatables is that they are more stable with the flat bottom then the ridgid yaks. But not sure with my own experience.

I would not troll with the glue on rod holders. But I would troll holding the rod. Just my two cents worth... Good Luck
