Fairly new to Salt Lake City and hoping some fellow kayakers can share some nearby flat water angling experiences. I live in the Upper Mill Creek area so places like Little Dell would be awesome, I just don't know anything about it. I did get a chance to attend the SCHEELS Paddle Sport Demo Day at the Jordanelle Reservoir this past weekend, but didn't have time to launch my Revo or fish. Thanks in advance for any help.

It's been several years since I lived in that area but you are totally surrounded by some great fishing reservoirs. Especially just to the east of where you live in the foothills of the Wasatch. If you don't mind going a little north you may want to try the flat water parts of the Bear River which can be very productive. Also don't discount Bear Lake on the Idaho border. It can still sport some substantial lake trout that can give a real fight. Enjoy that area! It has a lot to offer. :)
