It is a potential problem to use an older drive in a newer Click-n-Go hull.

Problem: The drum shaft in an older drive can rotate within the drive. The levers pinch the shaft and as the drive rocks... This can "ratchet" open the Click-n-Go lever and release the drive.

The newer drives for the Click-n-Go lever system have splines to prevent this rotation.

The shaft is easy to replace. Simply hammer out the old shaft with the new one.
