Hey guys i'm looking to add a small outboard after considering all te different electric options i think a 2hp 4 stroke engine is still the best option, until battery price and weight come down. The motor is not intended for regular use but as safety precaution on ocean going trips(I feel I endangered my girlfriends life when i took her out to garden island only to have a 30+ knot head wind when trying to return, if something had happened like a steering failure we would have been in serious trouble!). Anyhow just wondering if anybody has any idea on where i can source a second hand engine? I plan on mounting a transom to the left rear aka and bracing it with a rope set up to the front aka.
