They are for hiking out, taking passengers, walking around the boat, stowing gear, diving, and most of all fishing and landing fish without the Amas getting in the way.

It also stabilizes the Akas, and still allows you to use the paddles at any time. Great for surf and surf landings. Something tramps can't do.

They make great benches on the beach and can be removed to use as seating or a table.

It can be done Fly4v. Here is a clip http://www.youtube.com/user/summers65
I don't yet have the tramps so, like Chris, it looks like I'll be erecting it all on shore and then launching. How hard can it be. ( I must stop saying that ! )

Slaughter thanks for the video. Yes, "how hard can it be" but then Jeremy Clarkson always shows us how hard with a hammer.
About nine minutes set-up time on the water. It will take me thirty.

Interesting how Oceania is leading the development in AI modifications. Guess Floridians are too distracted by Spring Break and Bike Week.

Thanks NOHUHU. I can see all the advantages now. Have you ever slept on it ?

Fly4v - I erected 'The Penthouse' yesterday down by the water. I wasn't timing the procedure but had the video going, and with a couple of stuff ups, I reckon it was about 5 minutes. It would be a challenge to assemble it on the water without tramps though. Trouble was that, as usual, the AI still attracts onlookers who want to have a chat, so I'll have to do a bit of editing. I'll convert it to YouTube eventually which I'm sure will take a lot longer than 5 minutes.
