By popular request, we have made a short test run of TI Sprayskirts kits pre-assembled, including everything necessary to mount the Sprayskirt without drilling any holes, mounting any additional hardware or any special tools. Limited introductory kits.

Looks excellent Bob.
If i didn't already have it, i'd be placing an order.
They are a must have accessory for both AI & TI.

I am looking to do an AI one also. I did a prototype on an older AI a few months ago, but I haven't seen the 2011 AI changes personally to know how it would attach. On the 2007-2010 AI prototype, I attached the rear of the Sprayskirt to the forward part of the side paddle bungees for a friend, but have not gotten feedback yet (they're way up north in the US, brrrr). Any comments on AI changes effecting attachment points for a Sprayskirt?

On this TI pre-assembled Sprayshirt kit, I've added line extensions on the back and side for the easiest/simplest attachment points, but also made the basic loops out of the body of the Sprayskirt short enough to mount to added hardware ball mounts for the rear attachment points, and/or added eyelet posts halfway down the aka for the side mounts, just by removing these extensions to mount the Sprayskirts like I do on my boats. Also, they can be mounted to the top forward corner of the front mesh pockets screw, but that requires a small spacer to protect the line from the sharp screw threads (and is not as easy to install). A few other optional mount points can be added without modifying the basic Sprayskirt as it's shipped for easily removal on the water when not using trampolines or quick release for when fishing.

My biggest problem in coming up with this kit, was to make it so easy to install for anybody, but not limiting it's use by tinkerers. I think I succeeded, but time will tell.

Bob, Dee informed me that I was the first one to place an order. Looking forward to trying it out next week in N. Carolina. New Dune colored TI will arrive around the same time along with the new replacement rudder!! How lucky can one get! :P

I'll be sure to post comments about your installation instructions.

I finally got time to install my new skirts this morning. I basically did it exactly, well, almost, like Bob. except I made a loop of bungee and put it between the outer corner and the ama. I figured it would make it easier to keep it taut, and it would also act like an overload dump and let the part of the skirt attached to the kayak act like a hinge.

Would be trying it out this afternoon except the squalls are moving in on us.
Pretty water, though

Looks good, KB. When you get one designed for a 2011 AI, I will have to give it serious consideration.

It ought to be a hot accessory.

Did basic install in about 5 minutes. Worked great - I will do with the other options in the next couple of days.
