Just received my new hd cart from over the pond , I hope it was worth the wait, so far as looking at it not worth the £160 gbp. Hope it's better than my c tug otherwise I'll be well pi**ed. Someone needs to put their homemade carts into production..... Better products come from back yards. |

HD cart, that is the one with the black solid tires? Works great on all but sand where it like to dig-in as opposed to roll. For sand need the Trax 2. Both are still dangerous since they are scupper carts. |

While we are on the subject, I'm new to the kayaks, and have not used mine for the first time, I know I can well the thing all the way to the beach, fully loaded. But once there what? time the kayak and pull the cart? I know i'm going to be securing my cooler fine and all but aint it a bit weird doing it like that? or do you float it in the surf deep enough to pull it under? this also make me think I need to be too deep. Sorry about the newbie questions. DAn |

On our Revolution, we used to tip the kayak, and pull the cart out before entering the water. On my Adventure Island, I usually walked the boat right into the water, and then pulled the cart. It wasn't too deep to do this. Often times, I'd take my AI out about 50 feet into the water, and then pull the cart there. I don't think you could safely do this without the ama's of the AI. |
