Slaughter - are they all foam??
That might work OK for you but I don't think it would be suitable for us heavyweights :o

Slaughter,
Mate, now who's got the Nick Scali lounge?
You may have come up with a non wood haka that looks as good as the wooden ones...then again maybe not.
Looks aren't everything but and I reckon yours would be more comfortable. 8)

Had a great days sailing off Patonga. We began in lighter winds which suited the little kids and ended in stronger winds which suited the big kids at heart. The haka make the stronger winds a lot more fun.

Love that stretch of water! Stringy, could you please let me know what software you used to put that track together.

Good one Stringy! I see the similarity.

3 adults and 3 hobbits on a TI. That may be a record! 8) It's a thrill to see the Hakas making your family's day and improving your ride.

Tony,
I use the Android app 'Navionics' on my Samsung Galaxy S1 phone and Galaxy 8.9 Tablet, exporting the track as a .kml file. I'm also still using my old Nokia Navigator phone (minus sim card) as a speedo/track logger and exporting the track to Google Earth.

That's incredible how close that lounge looks to Slaughters haka. Obviously where he gained his inspiration from.
He's now at risk of being evicted by covering up that beautiful steel.

BTW I thought you'd like to know that the haka have made sailing in those conditions (20+ knots) heaps of fun. Before the haka we'd usually come in when the winds got that strong. The novelty of copping bucketfuls of water soon wears off. With the haka we can now look forward to those conditions and sailing just for the fun of it. 8)

Mickey and Slaughter,
Thanks.
Jason's really enjoying sailing the TI. He reckons it's a better sailer than the AI especially in heavier conditions.

I have the ios version on my iPhone. You can record tracks and create routes. I have maps covering the US and Canada. Best I could find.

I also have it on my iPhone5 & iPad & bought the southern Australian maps which include Tassie.
I also have iSailor on both the ios devices. I also bought the same region maps for it -half the price of Navionics and much more accurate (perfect!!). You can plot a course &/or record your track with either and export them in various formats to suit.
The Navionics app has some useful features but having recently spent a month on the ocean in challenging waters, I found iSailor to be the best nav app.
