Thats a nice white 4x4 in the other thread.
Looks like you are going over the same type of terrain but Australia has more things that bite and sting, or at least fatality.

Thanks, but I can't take full credit either. I heard about it from my friend Josh, who rarely posts here: viewtopic.php?f=11&t=6673&p=31283

Stringy has refined this application into a two-stage shock for extreme weights and extended portages. If you can't find the "basketballs" though, regular tennis balls work fine for most uses. 8)

Thank Josh for his excellent idea. Don't have a Woolies or much of anything for shopping but will give the foam basketballs a try if I can find a good substitute.
The tennis ball that failed was the seam... it was vertical to the cart post so I have the seam horizontal now and seems to last.

With the first warm day in awhile took the time to install the aft bulkhead.

Since there was no mast receiver to work around it was done in two pieces.

Thankfully, the glue fillets are not as ugly as on the forward bulk head.

With no where to go, I can keep going once I get there.

I put the widest hybrid tires and puncture resistant tubes on the bike. Works on all but loose sand.

Now I more corrosion than just the metal fittings on my AI to keep up with.

OK.... Now it's 5 years later - and there has been plenty time for the hull to deform if it was going to.

How did the pool noodle solution work out long-term
