OK, since you've all been asking for it, I took a sabbatical from work to try to figure this out for all of you. How do you make the large Hobie Sports Bottle fit into the small cupholder??

Stick it in the dishwasher with the heat-dry on!! LOL. Don;t worry about the sticker on the bottom that says "hand wash only" !!!

True story, my wife is a beer drinker, and drinks Mic Ultra beer which comes in the small skinny cans. I told her they specifically designed the left side cup holders on the TI for Mic Ultra cans, she bought that and allowed me to keep the boat (I had already purchased it in anticipation of her approval LOL). Only had to sleep on the couch a couple days.

I have two of those shrunken bottles also, I had two in the lower rack and two in the upper rack on the dishwasher. The ones in the lower rack were shrunk, but the lids still fit and they still work (but you can't stand them upright)

Hahahahahaha! Yeah, the lid still fits!

As far as buying the boat without authorization... "it's better to ask for forgiveness than for permission" :)

You guys keep doing this and Hobie is going to have to have to market a lab beaker and test tube set.

Didn't work. I tried it with the dog and he came out his usual 11 kg.

No I think it worked with the dog too! You see, the weight remains the same... it's only the size that changes! Look how small he is now! :)

Hmmm....you may be onto something. I just realised that he went in as a Boxer and came out as a Pug.

I'm sure my wife would like to shrink me in the dishwasher, but fortunately for me - I don't fit!

So what size drink bottle does the small hole fit? It's too small for a standard drink bottle (ie. the kind you would use on a bicycle). I don't use the Hobie water bottle either as I find the opening too big to use whilst at sea. I currently use a water bladder in my life jacket & several standard water bottles tied to the TI. (plus a thermos when sailing at night or in cold weather).
