Bob, that is a great idea! I will try using goggles to go out maybe next weekend.

NUHUHU, LMK how you like the Catalina 22, that is a boat that I have been wanting to learn how to sail. Looks like a great boat for K-Bay.

It's a great little boat. Flew the main and jib today in close to 20kts. Very well behaved with the 700lb lead keel.

The Sandbar was closed to alchohol, so of course, no one showed up! But with fun cops outnumbering the crusty sailors, it was the least crowded, safest place on the water!

Although, I think a few people drank their fill before heading out.

Catch you next time Chris,.. A Hui Hou!

Well I have not posted on here in quite I long time. But thought I would give every one an update on my double Hobie cart. I has held up very well under the constant weight of the TI and all the extras. The tires are still round with no flat spots, the hull is straight with out any deformities. The best part is it makes getting it in the water a snap!

Nice. Does anyone think Hobies new Trax cradles would be good enough to build a cheaper version II Topher trailer?

Yes I have used the standard TI cradle set but I don't think they are quite as sturdy as the ones for the Trax cart.
I have cracked the side of one by loading the TI from the side when on the roofrack. But that was my fault for excessive side force.

I have the cradles on my trailer and an extra one for a removable cart that I take off the trailer if I have to wheel across a beach where I am not allowed with the 4x4.
