Hi All,

Is there a 'correct' place to put your transducer? I've seen a few people have put theirs in front of the mast, but this isn't a good option IMO, as it could be dislodged by heavy items placed in the front hatch.

I was thinking under the front seat?

Cheers. :)

Best to keep it in front of the MirageDrives to limit distortion that is possibly craeted by bubbles coming off the drives. That is the primary reason for it being forward.

It's a pain to get it between the Mirage drive well and the mast cup, but once done, nothing should bother it in that areas and no loss of space.

If you happen to place it in front of the mast receiver, it can limit your access to the V-brace. Also will get bumped by stowage in the front hatch, and probably dripped on too.
