When The AI spears through a wave or comes back up after spearing into a wave is sometimes picks water up on the deck which runs all the way back and drains into the well/cockpit. So I tried to build a guard that will guide the water to the side, draining it over the sides. So here it is. Mind you, it is not tested yet. My feeling is it will either work very well, or it will go completely wrong and cause the water coming back to 'explode'. I had something similar on a old Klepper foldable kayak and it worked quite well there, pushing the water to the sides and away. I'll keep you posted. |

Nice Holger. Reminds me of the splash guard on a P=Class and if it works as half as good as that it will be a winner for sure. What did you fabricate it out of? |

It's made out of 3.5 mm HDPE. I am quite confident it will work. In the second pic it looks a bit wonky, but it's actually the shadows, it a nice, smooth curve all around. |
