Because I have a small car, I travel with the mirage drives in the boat using the bungee to hold them down. For long drives, (300+ miles) I have put a pool noodle on one of the pedals and on the metal rod that runs through the center. Does anyone else have any travel tips to avoid scuff marks on the boat?

For boat tie downs, I use cinch straps, but they like to leave minor wear marks on the akas. The akas scuff up the main hull. Rags fly away, and pool noodles (whole, halved and quartered) litter the highway. Any ideas on how to protect the boat?

I know that it's mostly cosmetic, but I would like to protect the boat, and smooth means fast.
