Chopcat:
I'm thinking since the new Honda motor will be in pretty much the same position and depth as my old one. What I will do when power sailing is tilt the motor slightly so the prop is more under the boat, and closer to the centerline. Should be easy to just loosen the clamp and tilt it slightly. This stops the motor from sucking air when the boat is tilted ( that's what I do now with the old motor).
I saw in another video they used a 4 ft piece of PVC tubing attached to the tiller handle so I can run the throttle from the front seat. I hate sitting in the back seat because you can't hike out, and it's much easier for me to single hand my TI from the front seat, where I have the center board control, and the 5 Harkin blocks across the front AKA bar to control all my massive sails.
Actually I excited to try downwind power sailing now I have the wing sails, I might be ably to develop apparent wind from the front ( like the AC 72's) and really fly.
