Virtually friction-free mods for frail old men with 2 bad shoulders!

My new FSE ROBLINE Racing Sheet Pro 1/4" [6 mm] is slick, non-stretch (<1%), doesn't soak up water, and worth every penny of $40!

Harken and Spinlock fairleads thoughfully placed eliminate hull friction & sag, and are much cheaper than cheek blocks. nb. "A good fairlead is going to have a smooth gently rounded surface rather than a flat one with abrupt corners. We also learned that the loss due to friction is small for small deflections and increases linearly with deflection. Finally, we learned that with XLS the loss is around 1% per degree of deflection. Thus for a few degrees of deflection a fairlead is a fine solution. For an extreme bend, say 90 degrees, a block would be better." http://l-36.com/fairlead_friction.php

Ronstan swivel base cams with bullseye facilitate operation from haka, skipper seat, or traditional soggy bottom position!

note: Still working on the steering from haka (hiking stick).

Mods completed, but I'm working on a low budget movie with a OCD producer!
You may have to settle for stills....
